does Horizon ship |
Horizon makes shipping boxes for live birds. That's it. That's
all we do, but we do it great. Horizon was solely responsible for getting the
USPS to start mailing live birds back in 1989. Anything was better than air
cargo, and cheaper! We also helped pushed FedEx to accept live birds for the
USPS in late 2006 just before the USPS was about to turn it off, helping
hundreds of small businesses stay in business. We remain dedicated to being your
voice in mailing live birds thru the USPS.

 Notice: The USPS has updated the rules and regulations for mailing all birds thru Express Mail in Environmentally-Secure, filtered containers to now include chickens. Horizon has been producing USPS approved Environmentally-Secure, filtered containers for birds since 1990, and has been producing chicken shippers, aka PetPorts, since 1997 without filters. The only thing that has changed for us is now they must all include the filters. |
