Horizon Micro-Environments is Bought Out by Longtime Employee

George P. Drewry is now CEO and major stockholder of Horizon.

After 7 years of employment, George has a clear idea of the  future and potential of this former R&D company.

As of January 1, 2001, the new business went into effect. "Hopefully, no one on the outside will notice a difference, except for the L.L.C. tacked onto the end of the name, and a new website." The emphasis will now be on increasing our product line of live animal transporters, providing what the customers want, such as bringing back the original mini nest design, and a little less emphasis on R&D. "The reason is because of the enormous costs and time consumed by transforming, then promoting an idea into an actual product. We will not completely cut it from our budget, but we must be realistic."
